Righteous Father, Creator of the heavens and the earth and everything in them. Thank you for making a way for us to come to know you. I pray you teach us and reveal to us the truth and help us grow in you.- In Jesus name- Amen

There is an old saying that goes like this, “ children don’t come with a manual!” I myself used to say it all the time when my children were very small. Then when I had teenagers, but once my children had babies of their own I came to the realization that we do have a manual. The parenting manual from God. With that being said, I have decided to put together this quick study on parenting and marriage, since they go hand in hand, from the wisdom of the Bible, to help not only my own children but other parents in need of some parenting help. I hope you enjoy this study.

Parenting 

“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” 

As believers in Jesus Christ it is crucial to understand that we are not just bringing a little baby into this world of flesh, but we are bringing in a soul and spirit. The flesh as we know grows old and one day passes away, but the spirit and the soul will live forever. Now this is the crucial part that we do not take as seriously as we should. The spirit and soul have an after life, it will either be eternal life with Jesus or the Lake of fire. That is why Jesus tells us, “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.” -Proverbs 22:6 

This verse shows us that when we teach our children young, to read God's Word, pray, worship, and the truth about who the god of this fleshy world is, they will not depart from the truth when they are old. Meaning they will worship the one true God of all creation and not be fooled by the enemy of our souls, the little g god, satan. “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” 2 Corinthians 4:4 

The world we live in today, poisons children from the very beginning. We comply because we do not know any better nor do we take the time to learn. For example, they tell us as soon as our baby comes into this world that it needs a Hep B shot. That shot is given to the child within 24 hours of being born into this world. Already injecting this pure baby with chemicals of this world. Here is the website to the CDC so you can look for yourself how many vaccines a child receives. https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/parents/index.html. Now I am not telling you to not vaccinate but I am asking, have we ever looked up what they are injecting into our children? I never did! As a young mother I did what I was told to do without a blink. Not ever thinking could these ingredients be harmful in any way for my children. It was the norm and I went with it. God gave us an immune system, so why do we need to shoot up our children with poison as soon as they enter this world? Because we are told it is good for them? Because they make us fear death and sickness? In the ancient days before the flood people were living to 900 years old, even after the flood we are getting to 500 years old. We see it dwindle down and down throughout the passing generations, why? Because we are being poisoned from birth, and going 

right along with it. I am not talking about only vaccines, that is each different person choice and opinion. I am also talking about the food we intake, the drinks we drink. The chemicals in our water, air, lotions, toothpaste. All that we consume is full of toxic chemicals that slowly break down the body and bring each of us closer and closer to deterioration. When we take time to learn about what is and is not healthy we will bless our children's health as well as ourselves. Giving our children healthy parents is also blessing our children. When our little ones grow they watch and mimic our every move, what we are like; they will follow. Let us listen to the Word of God, and trust he is the way the truth and the life. Everything we put in our child's body, whether through thier mouth, ears, eyes, or skin we must make sure it is of our Father in Heaven, Just like the old song goes, be careful little eyes what you see, cuz the Father up above is looking down in love, so be careful little eyes what you see.” Protect them at all costs from all evil. There is a spiritual darkness that seeks to kill, steal, and destroy. Let us be prepared with the armor of God to fight the enemy that so desperately wants to devour our children and our souls. 

“If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!”-Matthew 18:6 

The people that plot evil against children will one day answer for it, but we as parents must be aware there are those out there who do such evil planning. Do your research diligently, do not be fooled by the ways of this world. 

“People were also bringing babies to Jesus for him to place his hands on them. When the disciples saw this, they rebuked them. But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” - Luke 18:15-17 

The people were bringing their children to Jesus so that He could lay hands on them and bless them, or even heal them if needed. We see here Jesus tell the disciples how important the children are. Children are everything to Jesus, when He says, “ anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” He is talking about innocence, faith, purity, and love. That is what children are, unless taught otherwise by parents. Or taught by the world when parents are not present in a child's life. Children watch everything their parents do, and want to be like them in every way. Therefore, parents live for Jesus so that 

your children will follow the right path and that path leads them to eternal life. As well as a life full of love, kindness, and compassion. 

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” - Proverbs 18:21 

This verse is very important. What we speak out has either life or death energy. When we uplift our children we are speaking life into them. When we put them down, we are literally speaking death into them. They will either grow up loving themselves and tending to themselves in ways of righteousness, or they will destroy themselves with words of self doubt, self hate, and not know their worth. Then it will continue out in their lives, and they will either speak life or death to others and eventually their own children. 

Generational curses are real, but we can break them off our children in faith and obedience to our Lord Jesus Chrsit. 

“Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 

The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.” - Acts:2:38-39 

We who are believers have been called by God to do His Will. To tell others of this glorious gift of Salvation that He gave us. He has a promise given to us here in the verse above. It states, If we repent of our sin and be Baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, then we will have salvation as will our children. Meaning by our lives our children will see Jesus, His love and compassion, His right living, His moral character, His hope, His strength, and His Truth and they will want it as well. This verse does not mean if I am saved my children will be too, that is not how it works. They have to make a choice to believe also. By us living in Jesus, they will follow. What we look at, what we say, what we do, and how we treat people, are all crucial when raising children. It affects them, more than we could ever understand. 

"Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court." 

- Psalm 127:3-5 


“Discipline your children, for in that there is hope; do not be a willing party to their death.” 


Disciple is to love your child. Now does this mean beat the child with a belt, scold them with your words, make them sit in their rooms forever with nothing? No, it does not. I have learned that we are to discipline our children as the Lord disciples us. He corrects us when we are wrong, and makes us accept the consequences of our choices. He does this because He loves us and if He never did, we would be led to death spiritually. Meaning never seeing or receiving salvation. When we allow a child to do what it wants, throw fits, tantrum, hit, lie, steal, cuss, with no correction or discipline we are actually allowing our child to walk the crooked path that leads to death. Since we are talking about death, which is talking about no salvation, not just dying in the flesh, It should not be funny to us to serve Jesus to have our child cuss, and say nasty perverted things. I have seen it, time and time again. IT ISN’T FUNNY, and certainly isn’t funny to God, at all!!! We are made in the image of God, So when we speak there is power behind it and in it. I want to state God created everything when He said, “Let there be.” He spoke, so when we speak there is power in our words. We have the power to bring life or death with the words we speak. Be cautious of what you say, it can hurt a person or your child deeply in ways you can not see with your human eyes. To add to that, we will be held accountable for every word spoken, so speak wisely. “But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” 

- Matthew 12:36-37 

Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. 

The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.” - James 3:5-6 


Negative words have a different frequency, then positive words. A Doctor did a study with water and what happened to the water when spoken negatively or possibly. Here is the link for you to look at for yourself what happens. We have to remember humans are up to 60 percent water or more. So what we say affects us. The Doctor's name is Dr Masaru Emoto.

Fathers and Husbands 

“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church— for we are members of his body. “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.” 

- Ephesians 5:25-33 

The profound mystery of becoming one. What does this truly mean? How can two people become one? The best way I can explain this is going back to the beginning and looking at Adam and The Woman. Adam was first created, then the Lord saw that Adam needed a helpmate. He then put Adam into a deep sleep and opened up his side, took out a rib and created the woman from it. When Adam came to, he saw the woman and said, “ This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.” Therefore, when a woman leaves her father and mother, and a man leaves his, those two become one united mirroring Christ and the church, which are the Born Again believers not the church building. We are Christ's body, just as the woman is the man's body. CHrist loves the church, it is his body, that is why He says “ husbands love your wife as if your own body. It is a spiritual thing that happens when we become one with each other and one with Christ. This is why sexual sin is so crucial in marriage. It is literally destroying the body of not only Christ but the wife. There are two reasons a person is set free in marriage, the first if a spouse dies, the second is sexual sin against the spouse. Death is equal to sexual adultery, that means it is very serious in the eyes of God and in the spiritual realm. It is not just a physical act either, it is what is in our hearts. “ But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” God does not take this lightly, and neither should we. With all that being

said, let us summarize it all. We find a mate, we leave our fathers and mothers, to build our own family, as we become one with our spouses. In that we honor God and raise our children up in Him, and love and respect our spouses just as we should God. 

“And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?” - Malachi 2:15-17 

God talks a lot about being faithful to the wife. It is for a reason, because the harm adultery brings is dangerous and could cause damage our human minds can not comprehend. He is warning us, in love. 

“Drink water from your own cistern, running water from your own well.Should your springs overflow in the streets,your streams of water in the public squares? Let them be yours alone,never to be shared with strangers.May your fountain be blessed,and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth. A loving doe, a graceful deer—may her breasts satisfy you always, may you ever be intoxicated with her love. Why, my son, be intoxicated with another man’s wife? Why embrace the bosom of a wayward woman?” -Proverbs 5: 15-20 

“My son, keep my words and store up my commands within you. Keep my commands and you will live; guard my teachings as the apple of your eye. Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart. Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,”and to insight, “You are my relative.”They will keep you from the adulterous woman, from the wayward woman with her seductive words. At the window of my house I looked down through the lattice. I saw among the simple, I noticed among the young men, a youth who had no sense. He was going down the street near her corner, walking along in the direction of her house at twilight, as the day was fading, as the dark of night set in. Then out came a woman to meet him, dressed like a prostitute and with crafty intent.(She is unruly and defiant, her feet never stay at home; now

in the street, now in the squares, at every corner she lurks.) She took hold of him and kissed him and with a brazen face she said,“Today I fulfilled my vows, and I have food from my fellowship offering at home. So I came out to meet you; I looked for you and have found you! I have covered my bed with colored linens from Egypt. I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes and cinnamon. Come, let’s drink deeply of love till morning; let’s enjoy ourselves with love! My husband is not at home; he has gone on a long journey. He took his purse filled with money and will not be home till full moon.”With persuasive words she led him astray; she seduced him with her smooth talk.All at once he followed her like an ox going to the slaughter,like a deer[a] stepping into a noose till an arrow pierces his liver, like a bird darting into a snare, little knowing it will cost him his life. Now then, my sons, listen to me; pay attention to what I say. Do not let your heart turn to her ways or stray into her paths.Many are the victims she has brought down; her slain are a mighty throng. Her house is a highway to the grave, leading down to the chambers of death.” -Proverbs 7 

“For this command is a lamp, this teaching is a light, and correction and instruction are the way to life, keeping you from your neighbor’s wife, from the smooth talk of a wayward woman. Do not lust in your heart after her beauty or let her captivate you with her eyes. For a prostitute can be had for a loaf of bread, but another man’s wife preys on your very life.Can a man scoop fire into his lap without his clothes being burned? Can a man walk on hot coals without his feet being scorched? So is he who sleeps with another man’s wife; no one who touches her will go unpunished.People do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy his hunger when he is starving.Yet if he is caught, he must pay sevenfold, though it costs him all the wealth of his house.But a man who commits adultery has no sense; whoever does so destroys himself. Blows and disgrace are his lot, and his shame will never be wiped away. For jealousy arouses a husband’s fury,and he will show no mercy when he takes revenge.He will not accept any compensation; he will refuse a bribe, however great it is.” 

- Proverbs 6:23-35

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.“It has been said, ‘Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce.’But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her the victim of adultery, and anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.” 

- Matthew 5: 27-31 

Men, as we can see clearly God gives many warnings of being unfaithful and how important it is to take care of your wives. In doing so your children will raise up to be Men of Faith and faithful to their wives., and your daughters will grow up respecting themselves and know what a Godly man of faith is and won’t settle for less. The great Mystery of two becoming one is one our human minds might not be able to truly comprehend. It is important to not defile your spouse by being tempted away by a promiscuous woman. Do not even lust in your hearts it is as bad as committing adultery and destroying the wifes worth. Fathers do not entice your children to sin, it is a man's job to raise up and protect his child. Do not teach them the ways of the world but the ways of God so that their hearts will not be defiled by this wicked world. These verses are God telling us how we need to live through His Word. All the answers to your worldly issues are in the Bible, always seek Jesus and not the world when you come across marriage issues or parenting issues. And husbands lead your wives to Jesus, lead your children to Jesus, it is your calling and duty for being Men of God. Do not let them go through this world not knowing the Word of God, and the Power it has. Your role is very important, do not take advantage of it or take it lightly. Man you are the head of the Wife just as Christ is the head of the church. A great Honor from God. 

“He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the LORD.” - Proverbs 18:22

“Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.” - 1 Peter 3:7 

“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” - 2 Timothy 2:15 

You probably want to ask me, what do we do if we have a quarrelsome wife? Or a wife of this world? What if we as men have found and surrendered to Jesus and yet, the wife has not? I have good news, The Word of God has an answer for that too. 

“If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her” - 1 Corinthians 7 

When we choose a partner God tells us it is important that we are evenly yoked. Meaning, we are both Born Again into the kingdom of Heaven and running the race of faith, serving Jesus. Now, some of us become believers after we have found our mate or gotten married. With that being said, just because we found Jesus after we found our mate doesn't mean we leave our mate because Jesus commands us to be evenly yoked. He tells us here how to handle that. It is to live according to the scriptures and if your wife wants to leave you because of your faith, let her go. You are set free from that command because she chose to leave. If she wants to stay alive as Jesus, she will eventually come to the faith as well, and not divorce her. Before we talk about the nagging, quarrelsome wife I want to explain what event yoked is in detail.

The image above is a yoke. The yoke was used to guide the animals and till the ground evenly to get ready for planting seeds for a great harvest. If the Oxen was yoked with a Donkey they would not have been evenly yoked. This affects the way the group is at planting and could bring a non fruitful harvest. Same goes for us humans in a relationship. If we are not evenly yoked, our priorities and passions are not the same. One will always offset the harvest of the other. When we are evenly yoked, we build up the ground for plentiful harvest and oneness happens in a beautiful fulfilling way. Therefore, it is crucial in our spiritual life to be evenly yoked with who we become one with in this physical world. And if you become a believer after you have become one with someone, live according to the scriptures and prayer, and your way of living and joy of the Lord will lead him/her into salvation, and then you will become evenly yoked. Beautiful. 

Now, The nagging wife, whatsoever do we do? Why would a wife nag? Does it bring any good into your home or relationship? What could she do differently to fix the situation she is nagging about? Now, I am going to be real here and tell you, I have been the nagging wife and I was selfish, and wanted my own way and only my way. Therefore the root of it all by myself, my selfishness, and my lack of spending time with Jesus dailey and allowing Him to live through me

dailey. For you men, who have a woman like I was, pray for her, guide her to Jesus, and you rely on Jesus fully and in everything you do and she will see Jesus in you and want to follow. Now, not everyone is blessed this way, I personally drove my husband away in my nagging and selfishness because he didn't run to Jesus, and we had to both learn very hard lessons, the hard way. I am thankful for those lessons and to be honest for the pain. The reason for that is, I saw the reflection of my inner being and what type of wife I was acting like very clearly. It was NOT of Jesus and it was very ugly. So, run to Jesus, and keep your eyes on HIm in all you do. He is the answer to all life's problems and all relationship issues as well. Feelings are not valid, they are fleeting and deceptive, but Jesus is life and truth and will always give us an answer that is good and life giving. Do not give up, fight for love. Love isn't a feeling, it is an action and a choice. 

“Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.” - Ephesian 6:4 

Exasperated- irritated to anger, frustrated. 

This one is simple: lead them up in the ways of the Lord, loving them gently as the Lord loves us, correcting them in love when they do wrong, just as the Lord does us. If we do not know Jesus ourselves, how then can we raise up our child in the ways of the Lord? The way we treat our spouses is a big play in this as well, our children see and hear everything we do. They also mimic us, when we live in the Lord, they will follow.

As Fathers the commandments from God are simple, raise them up in Him, and through Him. show your children what a man of God is by the way we live, and do not exasperate your children. 

“So if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today—to love the LORD your God and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul— then I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and olive oil. I will provide grass in the fields for your cattle, and you will eat and be satisfied. Be careful, or you will be enticed to turn away and worship other gods and bow down to them.Then the LORD’s anger will burn against you, and he will shut up the heavens so that it will not rain and the ground will yield no produce, and you will soon perish from the good

land the LORD is giving you. Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates, so that your days and the days of your children may be many in the land the LORD swore to give your ancestors, as many as the days that the heavens are above the earth. 

If you carefully observe all these commands I am giving you to follow—to love the LORD your God, to walk in obedience to him and to hold fast to him— then the LORD will drive out all these nations before you, and you will dispossess nations larger and stronger than you. Every place where you set your foot will be yours: Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the Euphrates River to the Mediterranean Sea. No one will be able to stand against you. The LORD your God, as he promised you, will put the terror and fear of you on the whole land, wherever you go. See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse— the blessing if you obey the commands of the LORD your God that I am giving you today; the curse if you disobey the commands of the LORD your God and turn from the way that I command you today by following other gods, which you have not known.” 

- Deuteronomy 11 

Now you might say, that is the old testament, yes it is. Jesus did not come to abolish the law of Moses but to fulfill it. Meaning, He summed it up as this, Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’This is the first and greatest commandment.And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Being obedient to that brings blessings upon you, your children and their children, but being disobedient to that brings curses upon you, your children, and their children. 

Therefore, teach and show them the love of Jesus, and the Word of God, it will prepare them to fight off this dark world and the fiery attacks of the dark enemy of our souls.

Wives and Mothers 

Wives, in the same way, submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, when they see the purity and reverence of your lives. Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to adorn themselves. They submitted themselves to their own husbands, like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her lord. You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear. - Peter 3:1-6 

Being a woman and all, I can guess this part is hard to hear. Submit!!!!!!!!! Yep, I struggled with it for years. It is the pride of a woman always trying to rule over the husband just as the curse says, “Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.” - Genesis 3:16 

You see, there is a reason for this, and that reason is to protect the woman. You might ask from what? Well, let us look at the very first time the woman decided to rule over her husband. She was seduced by the Shining One, the serpent of old, the great dragon. Yep, her man was standing right there, and she still gave in, took the fruit, and ate it. Then, she turns and says eat to her man. She was not submitted to God or her man, but to herself. She wanted to be wise like the gods, she wanted what satan offered, the lust of the eye, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life. If she was submitted to God and her husband, we would not be in the mess we are in today, and death would have never been a part of our world. That is why we must submit first to the Lord, then submit to our husbands as if unto the Lord. The next thing you're not going to like is talking about your behavior. A woman of God has such a behavior that is so kind and gentle that her man will want to know the Lord, and he will want to become a man of God. The behavior of an immoral woman leads a man to other gods. That is the cold hard truth. The question is what is your behavior?

Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. - Ephesian 5:22-24 

But since sexual immorality is occurring, each man should have sexual relations with his own wife, and each woman with her own husband. 3 The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. 4 The wife does not have authority over her own body but yields it to her husband. In the same way, the husband does not have authority over his own body but yields it to his wife. 5 Do not deprive each other except perhaps by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. 1 Corinthians 7:2-5 

Satan has used sexual immorality as a tool to lead people away from the one true God since the beginning of humanity. Time and time again we see throughout scripture the enemy using sex and sexual immorality to tempt God's people into sinning. In that he has ripped people away from God, he has destroyed marriages, and even Kings throughout the Bible. it is very important that we do not deprive each other of sexual relations in a marriage, the reason for this is sex is a thing of the flesh, there was no sex in the garden that is not how God originally intended us to reproduce. It is a pool from the flesh that has defiled mankind for many many years and centuries. God made marriage to make sex holy, and to make children holy that are produced from sex. that is why it says we are born into sin, King David says he was conceived in sin. because sex is sin and was not a creation of God, but God has made it clean and holy through a marriage covenant. so when we are in a marriage it is important that we do not deprive each other of sexual relations unless it is for a time of fasting and prayer that we are devoting ourselves to God for period of time. but then it says, come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. This is a very important topic in marriage, too many times we see in marriages the husband or the wife does not feel loved because the husband or the wife is not tending to our sexual needs or desires as our flesh is needed. Now for a woman that is different, for a woman it's emotional, it's wanting to feel loved, wanting to feel wanted and beautiful. For a man it's different. A man is there basically for the feeling of sexual activity. Men and women are highly different, but God knows that and God says to us do not deprive each other because if we do Satan will come in and tempt us because of our lack of self-control.

Like a gold ring in a pig’s snout is a beautiful woman who shows no discretion. - Proverbs 11:22 

Women it does not matter how beautiful you are, you could be the most beautiful woman in the world but if you do not have or show discretion, the Lord literally says you're like a gold ring and a pig snout. Now, I don't know about you, but I've seen a gold ring and a pig snout and it is literally disgusting. The reason pigs get gold rings in their snout is to keep them from rooting, pigs root to communicate Comfort, cool off or search for food. so the ring literally harms the pig and keeps it from things that it really needs. just like a woman without discretion keeps a woman from things it really needs such as kindness, mercy, love, carefulness, and a spirit of goodness. So let's really take this in and not be beautiful women with no discretion, because clearly without discretion we're just harming ourselves and others.

The Noble Wife 

A wife of noble character who can find? 

She is worth far more than rubies. 

Her husband has full confidence in her 

and lacks nothing of value. 

She brings him good, not harm, 

all the days of her life. 

She selects wool and flax 

and works with eager hands. 

She is like the merchant ships, 

bringing her food from afar. 

She gets up while it is still night; 

she provides food for her family 

and portions for her female servants. 

She considers a field and buys it; 

out of her earnings she plants a vineyard. 

She sets about her work vigorously; 

her arms are strong for her tasks. 

She sees that her trading is profitable,

and her lamp does not go out at night. 

In her hand she holds the distaff 

and grasps the spindle with her fingers. 

She opens her arms to the poor 

and extends her hands to the needy. 

When it snows, she has no fear for her household; 

for all of them are clothed in scarlet. 

She makes coverings for her bed; 

she is clothed in fine linen and purple. 

Her husband is respected at the city gate, 

where he takes his seat among the elders of the land. 

She makes linen garments and sells them, 

and supplies the merchants with sashes. 

She is clothed with strength and dignity; 

she can laugh at the days to come. 

She speaks with wisdom, 

and faithful instruction is on her tongue. 

She watches over the affairs of her household 

and does not eat the bread of idleness. 

Her children arise and call her blessed; 

her husband also, and he praises her:

“Many women do noble things, 

but you surpass them all.” 

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; 

but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised 

Honor her for all that her hands have done, 

and let her works bring her praise at the city gate. 

A woman can only become this woman when she is a woman of God. She has submitted to the Lord and to her Husband. She works hard and makes sure everything is in order. She does not complain but is grateful. She is not rude but kind and gentle. She is forgiving and compassionate in word and in deed. She seeks to honor God, her husband, her family and herself. She is strong, not weak for her strength comes from the Lord. She laughs without fear of the future because she trusts God and knows no matter what He has a plan for her. She is faithful in all her ways and loyal without doubt. She is not vain and does not live in vanity but humbleness of her beauty. She brings peace to her home not chaos at all times and Loves the Lord with all her heart. Praying always for her family, friends and even enemies. That is the Proverbs 31 women.

The Quarrelsome Woman 

A quarrelsome wife is like the dripping of a leaky roof in a rainstorm; restraining her is like restraining the wind or grasping oil with the hand. - Proverbs 27:15-16 

Fun fact, you can't restrain the wind and you can't grasp oil with your hand, therefore there's no stopping the quarrelsome woman, she will literally destroy her home with her own hands. 

Better to live in a desert than with a quarrelsome and nagging wife. - Proverbs 21:19 

Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God. 

- Titus 2:4-8 

Mothers and wives, teach your children the ways of the Lord when they are young so that they have the wisdom and the knowledge of the very real spiritual realm that surrounds them in this fleshly world. The sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, which will keep them safe from the enemy of humanities souls. Remember the devil is roaring around like a lion waiting to devour our youth and our parents and marriages. The only way to fight him off is to resist him by overcoming him with the Word of God. Be watchful always. Keep your children protected with wisdom and the fear of the Lord. Then and only then, we will overcome this world, and see the Salvation of the Lord.

For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.” 

Being a Godly parent means also being a Godly spouse, that is why I have interweaved scriptures for parenting and husbands and wives in this study. If you are a single parent then you live as if Jesus is your spiritual husband, honoring him and yourself in all your 

ways. I am grateful for the wisdom I have today to be able to help my children have answers to questions I had. I was not fortunate to know Jesus when I was a young parent and even when I finally did surrender my life to Christ it took years and many failures to know what God truly wanted from me as a mother and wife. To my children, I 

love you and it is a great honor to be your mother and the grandmother of your children. Thank you for loving me even when I failed and for believing in me to overcome and become new in Christ. You are the Apples of my eye. Trust the Lord always, Pray always, and never give up and dailey put on the armor of our God. 

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all

the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 

18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. 19 Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will 

fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.” 

- Ephesians 6:10-20

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
